| Even as a young child, Glenn appeared to be destined for a news career. He would write letters to family and sign them "Glenn Selig, News Staff." Glenn knows news and is now putting his news smarts to work for individuals and businesses worldwide by helping them get free publicity in newspapers, magazines, television and radio.
Experience
Glenn began his distinguished career in El Centro, Calif./Yuma, Ariz. and worked his way to Tampa, Fla., the nation's 11th largest TV market, where he was the trusted Top Story/Lead Story reporter, investigative reporter and fill-in anchor.
He has held similar positions in Eureka, Calif., Victoria, Texas., Beaumont, Texas., and Saginaw/Flint, Mich.
In each city and station, Glenn won awards and was among the most trusted reporters in town. He either anchored the news, reported on the top story or served as the chief Investigative Reporter.
He's reported "live" for CNN, FOX News, virtually every major market city in the country--including New York and Los Angeles and Great Britain's SkyNews.
The Big Stories
He covered big trials and monumental tragedies. He was on the front lines for Hurricane Charley reporting from Punta Gorda, Fla. and in Pinellas Park, Fla. for the landmark right-to-die Terry Schiavo case. He's covered the President, Governors, U.S. Senators and members of Congress and many, many celebrities.
As an investigative reporter, Glenn took on pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly and Company and exposed possible risks to some diabetics prescribed an extremely popular insulin drug. The reports led to major changes in US import policies. He won the prestigious National Headline Award for his work.
During his two decades on TV, Glenn also became well known for telling the stories of real people: Including that of entrepreneurs and small business owners with consumer stories that hit home.
Speaking of home... Glenn is a husband and father of two. To help other fathers be the best dads they can be, he started the successful online magazine for fathers, InteractiveDad.com, which offers parenting and financial advice for dads. The site receives an average of 20,000 hits a day worldwide.
News Guy Becomes Publicity Agent
After getting the "scoops" for years, Glenn is now using his story telling skills to write hard-hitting, effective press releases and to design publicity campaigns that help companies put their best forward, grab attention and gain FREE publicity.
